RIICO Full Form

RIICO stands for “Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation”. It is an organization owned by the Government of Rajasthan. It was established on 28 March 1969 and was earlier known as RSIMDC (Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation), later changed to its present name in January 1980. The development of the industrial sector in Rajasthan is greatly aided by this organization. At present, RIICO has over 330 industrial areas with a total land area of 82000 acres. The chairman of RIICO is Shri Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, IAS, and the managing director is Dr. Veena Pradhan, IAS.
